Paul Hastings tops American Lawyer report on mid level associate satisfaction, taking into consideration such factors as compensation and benefits, training and guidance, relations with partners and other associates, the interest and satisfaction level of the work, the firm's policy on billable hours and management's openness about firm strategies and partnership chances.
Several firms, including Clifford Chance, Orrick, and Winston & Strawn made significant jumps from last years satisfaction survey into the top 20.
